the 3 gig uploads (and a little more is tolerated to) for Pando Pro and 24 a year. Have never had to split a movie, but usually send audio books and music all as mp3 files. I have some off the mainstream videos and have not posted to these to the group yet as this is only my second day. Was grateful that some pandos came through as I was gong to hit the unsubscribe mode as i hate to be a whiner or is wiener....

only thing with pando pro is u can upload larger than 1 gig files. i can split for free and upload two files. will take the same amount of time to upload. rs costs 52/year ,.. whats pando? rs files can be found on the www .. pando cant.

she must have made a genuine mistake, its very easily done when you have a few groups, sharing all different ways, and they are all coming to one email account non stop.

I love rapidshare because i have a paid account and it makes a huge difference in download speed, than the free account
so i can see where you are coming from, however paying for pando seems a waste of money as it hardly
goes faster at all.

your too funny, getting envious over people having RS, it's hardly a Rolls

I wonder why you can't use it at all? that's very odd and i guess i would
be hopping mad if i couldn't get it
too, it doesn't matter here in this group because there are lots of lovely
pando sends, but in other groups i would get nothing at all
and i would just have to sit there and cry until someone took pity on me.

I have no problem with people who can do the other downloaders, Ok, yes I

for no other reason than so I can breath, no matter how many times i tell

My only problem with Rapid Share users is sometimes some of them get very

For everyone that doesn't like Rapidshare, Hotfiles etc; be thankful that
they are there. If it wasn't for these places and Torrent sites and the kind
people that download them and then upload them through Pando there would be
not be many files to send through Pando except for some games that people
night have cracks for. Most all of the things that we get through Pando are
downloaded from the sites above first. Then the people that downloaded them
upload them through Pando for our enjoyment. I understand how people that
don't have a RS account can get upset at the waits and slow speeds, but
please remember the above. If it wasn't for these places the only thing that
would come through Pando is PSP stuff and the few games. I really don't
think people realize this. Thanks!

I have trouble using Rapidshare too, like forgetting to start the download during the wait, or forgetting number 3 file out of seven and during the extraction it won't finish because one is missing. It is very unforgiving. Pando will stop and start if my system goes down, or my wife uses the computer and does something like turning it off...I give my wife a good tongue lashing now and then (figure that one out) but don't really need to scold her as on restart Pando does the energizer bunny thing like someone said and just keeps going from where it stopped.......,

LOL @ you David :o)

your too funny, getting envious over people having RS, it's hardly a Rolls Royce now is it!
I wonder why you can't use it at all? that's very odd and i guess i would be hopping mad if i couldn't get it
too, it doesn't matter here in this group because there are lots of lovely pando sends, but in other groups i would get nothing at all
and i would just have to sit there and cry until someone took pity on me.

I agree with you on pando speeds, I think...........But unlike most people, I just plain and simple cannot get Rapid Share to work for me, Free or Paid. So therefore I,m stuck with I can get to work for me. Which is Pando, Paid Even.
I have no problem with people who can do the other downloaders, Ok, yes I do, I get very envious of them at times. OK OK, More times than not I get envious of them. Why, Not too sure, I started out with the free, when that did,nt work, I
bought the paid version, when that did,nt work, I went straight to the
horses mouth to see why, or what I was doing wrong...
They check and checked and checked, Finially they asked who my ISO was, told
them, they checked and informed me that my ISO had that blocked and there
was no way I was ever gonna get to use it without changeing my ISO.......
Well, Living in the woods, sticks, country, or otherwise living where people
caint find you to bother you, I,m limited to my local coop phone company for
internet. Even HUGES NET, for all their bragging about their ANYWHERE YOU
ARE servise, They dont reach here, and i,m not all that far out of the way,
otherwise i,d be in super duper doo doo with the wife, cause she likes
people......... GOD where did that come from,
So, I guess by and large, I,m about as happy as a tick on a dog.
Stick with what I have, grin and bare it...
I get envious cause it seems with pando, I have to wait till someone sends
something in that I,m willing to watch, with Rapid Share,(as I understand
it) I could actually search for whatever I feel like........
I dont know if any of that made a lick of sense to anyone but me, but thats
about it......

on vity, you can dl 9 at a time..and if you specify the folder for them to go to..the rar's will be in that folder and then you can extract them easier by just selected all the rar's for the file you are doing and then right click and click extract here..i used to get broken links all the time from trying to just dl all the links and not have them in a folder and they would quit working if one got done way before another. Now I don't have that problem using vity..imsexyman would have to answer ya on how many flashget will do.

In 1922, Madrid is wavering on the edge of change as traditional values are challenged by the dangerous new influences of Jazz, Freud and the avant-garde. Salvador Dali arrives at the university, 18 years old and determined to become a great artist. His bizarre blend of shyness and rampant exhibitionism attracts the attention of two of the university's social elite - Federico Garcia Lorca and Luis Buñuel. Salvador is absorbed into their decadent group and for a time Salvador, Luis and Federico become a formidable trio, the most ultra-modern group in Madrid. However as time passes, Salvador feels an increasingly strong
pull towards the charismatic Federico - who is himself oblivious of the attentions he is getting from his beautiful writer friend, Margarita. Finally, in the face of his friends' preoccupations - and Federico's growing renown as a poet - Luis sets off for Paris in search of his own artistic success. Federico and Salvador spend the holiday in the sea-side town of Cadaques. Both the idyllic surroundings and the warmth of the Dali family sweep Federico off his feet. Salvador and he draw closer, sharing their deepest beliefs, inspirations and secrets, convinced that they have found a kind of friendship undreamt of by others. It is more that a meeting of the minds; it is a fusion of souls. And then one night, in the phosphorescent water, it becomes something else. --© Regent Releasing

Set against the gray winter backdrop of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, the story centers on Leonard Kraditor (Joaquin Phoenix), a depressed and sometimes suicidal bachelor trying to pick up the pieces of his life after a bad breakup. Living with his parents and helping out at the family dry-cleaning business, Leonard finds himself in an existence that, save for his dabbling in black-and-white photography, is ordinary and stifling. His parents, mother Ruth (Isabella Rossellini) and father Reuben (Moni Moshonov), hope that a merger with a lucrative business--run by a friend of
Reuben´s with a pretty daughter, Sandra (Vinessa Shaw)--will spark a budding romance in Leonard. But their plan hits a snag when Leonard befriends Michelle (Gwyneth Paltrow), an alluring but emotionally needy blonde who struggles with her own desire for validation from a married man with whom she is having an affair. Phoenix is brilliant as the brooding and complex Leonard, an anti-hero caught between filial obligation and a longing for escape, who sees in Michelle a partner for his troubled soul. While TWO LOVERS can come off at times a bit unadorned and overly low-key, its great strength lies in its power to simply and honestly convey the muddled and awkward realities of love--a feat that could not be matched by 1000 generic Hollywood rom-coms.

Starring: Joaquin Phoenix, Gwyneth Paltrow, Vinessa Shaw, Moni Moshonov, Isabella Rossellini, John Ortiz, Julie Budd, Elias Koteas
Director: James Gray

Catholic Boys a.k.a. Heaven Help Us

Catholic Boys - Heaven Help Us -1985 DVDrip

Right lads this is my first movie that i have posted here and before i
posted it i had a look but it was not listed on here .
Catholic Boys

Dunn (Andrew McCarthy) is transferred to a Catholic boy's school in
Brooklyn.
His introduction to the pedantic Brother Thadeus, Headmaster (Donald
Sutherland) is an awkward meeting of two decent people separated by age and
ritual.
The school is a typical hotbed of adolescent sexuality, fantasies about
girls, masturbation, Hell fire damnation and redemption through confession.
To the Brothers who run the school the symbol of sin is the corner milk
bar where boys and girls meet.
The elderly owner suffers from melancholia leaving their survival to his
teenage daughter (Mary Stuart Masterton).
Dunn falls for her and together they outwit the establishment.
Catholic Boys is a predictable yet very enjoyable film. Its typecasting is
brilliant, everyone fits and the gags keep coming.
It's too literal to be a satire, yet it verges on it at times; a sadistic
Brother is too near reality for pure wit.

In Brooklyn of 1965, St. Basil´s Catholic Boys School receives a new
student, Michael Dunn (Andrew McCarthy), an orphaned teen sent with his sister to
live with their grandparents. Dunn befriends another outsider, Caesar
(Malcolm Danare), the brain of the student body. Caesar endures the torments of
Rooney (Kevin Dillon), a ~censored~ athlete who manages to work the word "
~censored~" into nearly every sentence.

Instructing the boys is the tough but fair headmaster Brother Thadeus
(Donald Sutherland), the progressive Brother Timothy (John Heard), and the
sadistic Brother Constance (Jay Patterson), whose classroom punishments become
more extreme as Rooney´s stunts grow more numerous.

Dunn stands up to Rooney, who befriends the new kid rather than go through
the hassle of kicking his ass every time they come into contact. Hanging out
at the soda fountain across the street, Dunn meets Danni (Mary Stuart
Masterson), a tough talking high school dropout who runs the shop for her
despondent father. Dunn takes all the degradation he can from Brother Constance, but
with Danni´s help, finally decides to do something about it.

Producer Dan Wigutow had left L.A. to move to New York in search of fresh
material. He found an NYU Film School dropout named Charles Purpura, an East
Coast singer, songwriter and playwright who had written a
semi-autobiographical screenplay about his school days called Catholic Boys just as National
Lampoon´s Animal House was taking the box office by storm.

The script went through rewrites over four years. Fox liked the idea, but
objected to Wigutow´s choice of director, Michael Dinner, whose experience
was limited to TV. Silver Screen, a new film unit of HBO, was searching for
projects and agreed to finance Catholic Boys. Retitled Heaven Help Us on the
insistence of its distributor - Tri-Star - the picture was marketed as a
horny teenager movie, and encountered mixed reactions.

Heaven Help Us is a feloniously overlooked film, an offbeat, character
driven sleeper. Charles Purpura´s script feels personal, but like a good novel,
it defies categorization. There´s some raunch, but it´s not a teenage
comedy. There´s melodrama, but it´s not a heartwarming coming-of-age tale. It´s
definitely not a romantic comedy, in spite of a relationship that develops
between Andrew McCarthy and Mary Stuart Masterson´s characters.

The cast should be indication of how good this script was. In addition to
Donald Sutherland and John Heard - who received top billing - Mary Stuart
Masterson continues to impress me. She owned the teenage gal pal parts of the ´
80s and this is one of her most admirable. Kevin Dillon plays bully,
homophobe, would-be date rapist, prankster and standup guy all in the same movie,
and his performance would be reason enough to recommend the film.

Stephen Geoffreys and Patrick Dempsey appear as Dillon´s buddies. Yeardley
Smith plays a nerd with a crush on Caesar, while Wallace Shawn steals the
flick as a brother who fervently lectures the student body on lust. Dunn´s
sister Boo (Jennifer Dundas) collects flowers and lays under the covers,
pretending to be dead, until her brother performs last rites. Even the late
Calvert DeForest - Larry "Bud" Melman - pops up, playing the most memorable
drawbridge operator in film history.

I´m not a fan of Andrew McCarthy´s, and the character he plays here is low
key, almost passive, but I didn´t mind. The movie has a natural, unforced
rhythm and felt real to me. Most of all, it´s really, really funny. Dillion´
s exclamation while the boys watch Blue Hawaii ("Jesus, what´d they do to
Elvis? Cut his balls off or something?") cracked me up. This is absolutely
worth the download .

Quote: Plot:

Now here's a weird case: An out-of-nowhere occult-heavy horror flick from
director Joel Schuamcher (The Lost Boys, Flatliners), production company
Gold Circle (Slither, White

Noise), distributor Lionsgate (too many horror films to mention) -- that
got a contractually-mandated afterthought of a theatrical release (25
theaters!) before popping up on

the horror shelves, looking all slick and intriguing. (Say what you like
about the film itself, but Blood Creek, previously known as Town Creek and
also plain old Creek, does

offer one bad-ass DVD cover.)

And what's Joel Schumacher, only a few years removed from The Number 23
and The Phantom of the Opera, doing in Romania making a low-budget horror
flick about a satanic nazi

vampire zombie-master?

I have no idea, nor am I sure A) who Gold Circle thought would go see this
flick on a Friday night or B) why it (like so many other Lionsgate horror
offerings lately) was

tossed into a "shame" release and then all but forgotten about. What I do
know is that, barring a few clumsy bouts of exposition and a general air of
familiarity, Schumacher's

Blood Creek is a perfectly passable horror-freak time-waster -- but only
if you can pop it on to your TV with a minimum of extra effort. Slickly
shot, intermittently creepy,

and eventually kinda satisfying, sure, but there's no way Blood Creek is
some sort of under-the-radar mini-masterpiece.

The basic gist of the plot is that Evan (Henry Cavill) must team up with
his long-lost big brother Vic (Dominic Purcell) to rid a local farmhouse of
a diabolically possessed

family and their longtime houseguest: a satanic nazi vampire
zombie-master. I'll leave the backstory to the Schumacher's noir-ish flashbacks (and
while we're at it let's leave

the character development to a handful of clumsy early scenes) and cut
right to the meat of the matter: Once Blood Creek gets down to business, it's
sort of a "isolated house

siege" horror film, not unlike the settings found in Night of the Living
Dead and The Evil Dead. Only instead of combating corpses or demons, our
heroes (and that family of

possessed kooks, don't forget) must fight off maniacal horses, re-animated
hayseeds, and (all together now) a satanic nazi vampire zombie-master.

Points to Schumacher for including just enough characters to serve as body
count fodder, and high marks indeed to the soon-to-be-classic sequence in
which a bloodthirsty horse

tears apart a kitchen while getting shot to pieces.

And just when things can't get much weirder, up pops the always-welcome
Shea Whigam as a monster victim who suffers all sorts of horrific fates.
Horror-wise, Blood Creek's

villain (Michael Fassbender as a deformed immortal nazi known as Wirth)
feels a bit like a Cenobite who got his own spin-off flick, but (to be fair)
this bad guy does keep the

carnage coming at a brisk clip. And he's remarkably persistent.
