(1932), this is one of the few pictures to receive an Academy Award
nomination for Best Picture without receiving any other nominations.

to the film and had no choice but to play the role of Gladys Benton. In
the end, she liked the film and agreed that she was more suited to the role
of Gladys.

So far I have seen two different versions, way different versions. I am
very surprised that this movie got this much hype and publicity to it, UNLESS
Ive seen the wrong version.

The two versions Ive seen are 1. A very simple couple that are bad actors
with a bad actor psychic guy that comes in and out a few times. 2.
Without the psychic.

So the ending is with her killing her boyfriend and then killing herself?
What???????
