machine comes out of the ocean. The machine is the creation of an alien race
that is trying to syphon energy from earth. A true classic, in that it is

Innocuous family comedy casts Sinbad as Sam Simms, an offbeat Secret Service agent who is given the menial job of guarding Prez's bratty son Luke (Pierce). Simms sees that Luke is merely a misunderstood misfit like himself, and helps the lad have more fun than a Presidential son is allowed. Flick's clean, inoffensive humor makes it hard to dislike. Watch for cameo from Sonny Bono.

The show follows the lives of three strangers, Roxanne, Joanna and Kat, who
meet at a wishing fountain and soon become friends. A mysterious man named
Darryl Van Horne has moved to Eastwick and has sinister plans for the girls,
but befriends them. What is even more dangerous, he's unleashing their
supernatural powers. But by igniting their heart's desires, he might just
be opening Pandora's box.
The three women work well together, their very different personalities
contrasting and complementing just like the very different powers that they
possess. Jaime Ray Newman is totally believable as the "doormat" housewife,
and mother of five (and the favorite character of our five kids). Lindsay
Price and Rebecca Romijn also fit their roles perfectly as the
scatterbrained journalist and the earthy artist.
One watcher's opinion: It has been a long time since I've given a show a
try and fallen in love so quickly...before the first half hour finished! The
cast works amazing together, they're very believable in their roles....and
not just the main roles. It's light and dark at the same time. My only
complaint was that some of the commercial breaks weren't quite long enough
for me to dart to the bathroom. I feared I might explode before the end, but
I didn't want to miss even a second! I can easily see myself waiting on the
edge of my seat after the finale. I'm already itchy for next week. I hope
they can keep up the 'oomph' that the pilot has! Way to go, it's certainly a
winner!
