Larry , I tried to send it, but it was more them my limit would allow. But,
it too has subtitles in the beginning of the story then they change later on

Hi, I have a bunch of files that are supposed to be 4 episodes of a TV
series, but are 19 files of varying sizes that say VBO and .IFO
Can someone tell me what I have to do to these to turn them into watchable
movies? Thank you! Michelle

if it looks like this then you've downloaded files that are dvd format.
best thing i can say is create an image of those files and then burn the
image to dvd creating a dvd copy of the files for yourself

Here's what you do. First download and install VLC Media Player. It's a freebie - Google it.
Then create a Folder, name it MICHELLE.
Create subfolders in MICHELLE named AUDIO and VIDEO
Copy/move all these files you got unto the VIDEO folder, as is.
Then go to MICHELLE again, right click on it and choose "PLAY WITH VLC PLAYER"
Then you're on to enjoy your movie minus the hassle of burning it.
Enjoy!!!

The message "windows media player cannot play the blah blah" and GOM player
shuts down with an error message when I tried to play any of the files

if it looks like this then you've downloaded files that are dvd format. best
thing i can say is create an image of those files and then burn the image to
dvd creating a dvd copy of the files for yourself

Nevermind, I just tried right clicking and choosing a program etc and that
worked, thanks
But altogether there is over 3 gigs of files, there is no way to convert
them to share on pando, without burning them
to disk? Thanks, Michelle

A lot of you are new to all of this
and have been asking how to share.
Here's a tutorial on uploading to Pando.
Once you have Pando installed
here's how you upload.
If you're going to try to upload movies
from your own DVD's
you'll have to rip them first
in which case you'll need to
download A Ripper program,
it rips and converts to .AVI.
First of all what ever
you want to upload,
Movie, music, whatever,
you'll have to rip first or if it's a downloaded file, re-upload the file.
It's recommended that you 'Mirror' the file before you upload.
To 'Mirror' a file simply make a new folder and name it the same name as the
file you are uploading. Go to either Word or, All Programs/Accessories/Word
Pad, and create a text document and name it 'Read Me', and place it in the
folder with the file you are sharing. You can say whatever you want in the
text, a simple 'Sharing what was shared with me' will work or anything you
want to say about it. This is necessary to change the 'size' of the file so
that Pando won't look for it from other sharers of the same file in the
network. Pando will consider yours a new file and you will get the extended
share.
Then you have several
options to upload:
Email; IM; or Web.
It is highly recommended to use the 'WEB' feature as this will extend your
share to 30 days for free Pando users or 60 days for Pro Pando users, versus
7 days using the 'Email' feature.
The recommendation here
is that you send the file
to yourself first and then
share it after it's fully
uploaded.
Anyway here goes:
1. Open Pando
2.
Click on 'Share New'
in upper left corner
3.
This is where you
put in the email addys
you want to send to as well as
the file(s) you want to send
and a text message of what
you're sending or whatever
you want to say.
In this case it should be
your own addy or the computer
where you're sending it
to yourself..
4.
Click on the double arrow
on the left border and it opens up
this window, where you browse
for the folder you put the file in.
Drop down menu at top to go wherever
it's at,
My Documents, Desktop or where ever.
5.
Once you're there just drag and drop
the file in the big window then add
your text, if you want, and click send.
6.
Pando window will open and you'll see
the progress bar as it packages first,
and then starts the upload
7.
When it's done packaging you'll see
the progress of the upload,
mine is very slow most of the time
but in this picture, seeing as it's
already uploaded it is ready to share.
Here again you have a couple of options
as when it packages it automatically sends
you a copy to your email and you can
either just forward that to the recipient
because it will have the download link
or you can click on the 'share' button
and you'll get the window, again,
where you put in the addys,
add any text you want and click send.
It then goes through the whole process
of packaging and sending again.
Once again, you have to wait until
it's fully uploaded before you do this
or the recipient can't download it
until it's done.
If it's already uploaded it will be
ready as soon as it gets done
packaging.
That's pretty much it.....
With the free account you can send files
up to 1gb, Pro accounts up to 3gb.
It will download larger files, over a gig,
if the person sending has a paid account
and can send the bigger ones....

Two young "hippie" bikers, Wyatt and Billy sell some dope in Southern
California, stash their money away in their gas-tank and set off for a trip
across America, on their own personal odyssey looking for a way to lead
their lives. On the journey they encounter bigotry and hatred from
small-town communities who despise and fear their non-conformism. However
Wyatt and Billy also discover people attempting 'alternative lifestyles' who
are resisting this narrow-mindedness, there is always a question mark over
the future survival of these drop-out groups. The gentle hippie community
who thank God for 'a place to stand' are living their own unreal dream. The
rancher they encounter and his Mexican wife are hard-pushed to make ends
