you need to get the codecs to play it.. try downloading gom player and/or
vlc player and if they still don't play google codecs for your os and get
the new ones and you will have sound... Crazyhorse.

A bad burner will also cause these kinds of problems.. I have no idea how
old your burner is or how many disc you have burnt but I have gone through a
lot of burners myself and when they start going out they will not burn
movies right even though the program say's they completed successfully they
will not play or they will skip or have an issue playing on a dvd player.
you can also try cleaning your burner using a dvd cleaning disc and
sometimes that will help.. if you are a smoker like I am it helps to clean
it because the smoke will get into there and make it not work right as
well.. I have an air filter that is by my computer so it helps keep the
smoke out of my system.. just some good info & things you can try...

hmm funny you say that cuz my dad has been borrowing the movies to watch after i burn and he said they keep skipping on him. But then they play fine here on my computer. And that is what was happening for me was it would take a long time to burn and then it said the process failed but the movie did burn. So i will try cleaning the drive. I hope i didn't burn up the burner already. And yes i smoke and i take my computer out on the porch with me when i smoke. Thanks for letting me know this. I just got this computer from my hubby, haven't had it very long and didn't know what all was on here but found we have a Windows DVD maker program on here and it's burning a movie for me right now so i sure hope it works. Thank you

sounds to me like your burner is just about shot.. I have gone through
several of them in all of our computers but we have burnt at least 9000
DVD's and I have no idea how many data disc so ya we burn a lot of disc
here. I have had to replace I think 4 burners in the last 2 or so years now
in different computers. I build computers and have built all of ours we have
and when they start skipping and doing stupid shit I just replace them with
a new one and it fixes the problem.. I can buy a new sata dvd burner for
about 20 bucks so it is not to bad and they are easy to replace in a desktop
so I just replace them when I need to.. as I am writhing this I have 3 that
need to be replaced now but I don't have the funds at the moment so they
have to wait but I will have a few that woks so it is not to big a deal for
me..
oh also if your burner is going bad it will not matter what program you use
it will always have the same effect and the disc will not play right... Glad
to be of help I hope your able to get it fixed and workign right...

wow that is a lot of dvd's...i have only burnt about 150 dvd's or so but within a short amount of time. The program i'm using now is going slow but i figure it takes a while to write a dvd so i will see afterwards if it works, that should tell me if the burner is bad. thanks again

LOL... ya we have about 4000 or more dvds here that we own and we have also
made a copy of most of them for my wife's mom and we have done about 200 or
so for my parents and then of course the rest of our family thinks we have
nothing better to do other than make copies for them so ya saying we have
done 9000 is probably a bit low from what we have really done but when you
have done as many as we have you loose track of how many exactly...lol. all
I know is we have done a lot of burning and I have lots more to do.. I have
a 1 Tb external that is full of movies now that need to be converted and
burnt to DVD but I have not had the blank disc to burn them so they have
just been sitting there waiting on me to get disc and get them burnt..lol.
we only buy disc buy the 100's as it is cheaper & sooner or later we will
use them anyway..lol. your welcome I hope you get it all worked out..

All I can suggest is to go to the settings on convertx and look under DVD
Specification and see if the box that says format has NTSC(US,Asia), if not
change it to that because if it says PAL they only usually play on computers

There's big trouble in Angel Land, and only Sugar can save the day! One
bright and sunny morning when Sugar, the Princess of Angel Land, was
playing outside with her friends Basil, Parsley and Thyme, she was
surprised by the appearance of the Storm King! The Storm King was
supposed to be in charge of the West Land, blowing the leaves from the
trees. Then suddenly the Storm King got the idea that his job was to
blow everything away - absolutely everything, no matter what anybody
said. He ignored Sugar's protests, and blew her three friends to the far
reaches of Angel Land. Sugar must now travel to different lands in order
to free her friends, pausing to help anyone else who may have had their
things blown away as well. Finally, she must confront the Storm King to
show him the consequences of his actions.

All good things must come to an end, and Being One is the same. In the final
chapter, will all finally be revealed? This final episode has lots of blood,
gore, and killing. Definitely not for young children or those who faint at
the sight of blood. The fear factor has also returned with lots of strange
noises, ominous ground shaking, creepy crawlies, and lots and lots of really
insane graffiti.
