A bad burner will also cause these kinds of problems.. I have no idea how
old your burner is or how many disc you have burnt but I have gone through a
lot of burners myself and when they start going out they will not burn
movies right even though the program say's they completed successfully they
will not play or they will skip or have an issue playing on a dvd player.
you can also try cleaning your burner using a dvd cleaning disc and
sometimes that will help.. if you are a smoker like I am it helps to clean
it because the smoke will get into there and make it not work right as well.
I have an air filter that is by my computer so it helps keep the smoke out
of my system.. just some good info & things you can try... Crazyhorse.

now that is strange as well because it was set to
PAL...so I changed it to NTSC. I will try to do another
movie today and see if that was the problem...

if it is set to pal then it will not play in most players.. pal is for other
countries and will not work in most equipment here in the USA....

I have a desktop...and I have done
probably close to 700 dvds and
cds. I have been having some problems
with it. Like I will put a disk in and expect
anydvd to decode it and it will say that
there is no disk in the drive..lol...

I forgot that over the weekend I had
reinstalled it and never changed the
settings...I'm a duh....however I do think
that my burner is slowly fading away..
