7a.: problems with dl from the latest pando version

just wanted to suggest to anyone else having issues dl with the latest update that they trey shutting the pando application off before trying to dl. i tried everything this is all that would work for me, shut it off then click to dl, it'll reopen pando and should start dl.... hope that helps

i dont know about the probs with pando but i miss Alaska, use to live
there in Wasilla one day i will get to go back. :)

The new pando is constantly showing file error. Makes one wonder WHY they create a new version when there was nothing wrong with the old one

I am having no problems with the new version. I am a Pro version user, but
it's the same Pando that the free users get. There may be a conflict with
the previous version if you just did and update and let it copy over the
older version. I would try to completely remove Pando and then re-install
the new version again. This is what you would have to do.

1. First use Add\Remove to un-install Pando or use the un-install that came
with Pando.
2. Now if you are using XP, go to your C:drive, open it and then click on
Documents and Settings.
If you are using Vista or any other operating system you will have to
find your Documents and
Settings folder. Now find the Local Settings folder and open it. You
will see a Pando folder. Delete
It. (Important note: You must have All Files and Folders set to viewable
to see the Local Settings folder.
If you can't see it, then look at the top left and click on Tools, then
Folder Options, and then View. Make
Sure that there is a mark by Show Hidden Files and Folders.
3. Now go back to your C:drive, open it and go to Program Files. Delete the
Pando Networks Folder.
4. Now click on START and then Run. Type this in the Open block: regedit
Click on the H_key Current User Folder. Now click on the Software Folder.
Right click on the Pando Networks Folder and delete it. Now click on the
H-key Local Machine Folder. Click on the Software folder. Find the Pando
Networks folder and right click on it and delete it. Close out the Registry
Editor.
5. If you have a Registry Cleaner use it.
6. Re-install Pando and see if this helped.

first you have to combine all 5 parts into one folder (ie take all the parts from 2-5 cut and paste into folder 1). then you unzip them all
