Cameron James (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the new kid at Padua High School, is
given a tour of the school by Michael Eckman (David Krumholtz), who is an
audio-visual geek and former leader of a clique of future MBAs. Michael
provides Cameron with information on the schools various cliques. During the
tour, Cameron spots the beautiful and popular Bianca Stratford (Larisa
Oleynik) and is immediately smitten with her. Michael warns that Bianca is
shallow, conceited, and worst of all, not allowed to date. Michael does,
however, inform Cameron that Bianca is looking for a French tutor.
At the Stratford residence, Biancas outcast older sister Kat (Julia Stiles)
receives a letter of acceptance to Sarah Lawrence College. Her protective
father, Walter (Larry Miller), is distraught by the news, as he wants Kat to
attend college nearby. Kat distracts her father by revealing that Bianca was
given a ride home from school by Joey Donner (Andrew Keegan). Bianca begs
her father to allow her to date, but to no avail. Kat's aversion to dating
prompts the father to come up with a new rule: Bianca can only date if Kat
is dating.
Cameron starts tutoring Bianca, and she informs him of her fathers rule
after Cameron makes many failed attempts to ask her out. This news motivates
Cameron and Michael to set out to find a boy who is willing to date Kat.
Cameron suggests Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger), an outcast who is just as
ill-tempered as Kat. Cameron tries asking Patrick for his assistance, but
Patrick scares him off. Michael then poses the idea to Joey, also attempting
to date Bianca, to pay Patrick to take Kat out. Patrick agrees, but Kat,
however, wants nothing to do with Patrick. Cameron and Michael finally
explain their situation to Patrick and inform him that Bogie Lowenstein
(Kyle Cease) is throwing a party (this is actually a plot by Michael to get
revenge, as a rumor from Bogie had got him kicked out of their clique).

Fantasy | Horror | Thriller Tagline:Christine Brown has a good job, a great
boyfriend, and a bright future. But in three days, she's going to hell.
Plot:Christine Brown is responsible for loans in a bank and expects to be
promoted to the open position of assistant manager after dealing a big
contract. However, the new hire Stu Rubin is a collusive coworker that
scheming against Christine to be selected by the manager Mr. Jacks to the
position. When Mrs. Ganush, an old gypsy with appearance of witch that has
been evicted by the bank, requests a third extension of her mortgage, Mr.
Jacks tells Christine that it is her call. Christine denies the loan to
prove her boss that she can take tough decisions. Mrs. Ganush begs for the
loan but Christine shames the woman calling the security. In the night,
Christine is stalked by Mrs. Ganush in the parking lot and they struggle.
Out of the blue, Mrs, Ganush removes a button from Christine's coat, curses
it, returns the button to her and vanishes. Later, while going home with her
psychologist boy-friend Clay Dalton, they pass by the fortune teller Rham
Jas, and Christine decides to consult him. He advises her that Christine has
the fiend Lamia, the Black Goat, upon her. When Christine is haunted by the
dark spirit during the night, at home, she tries to fix the situation

When kidnappers grab a Chinese official's daughter, Hong Kong chief

The US Army's defense of its Philippines colony and the allied Malay
countries/colonies behind it counted on its island fortress of Corregidor on
Luzon -and a few others- but loses it in the 6 May 1942 Japanese combined
forces attack. Colonel Joseph Madden is among the escaping survivors who are
ordered by general Douglas McArthur to organize a guerrilla. As he finds
many native Filipinos inclined to resist the occupier's vision of returning
to the South Asian fold under a paternalistic empire which doesn't hesitate
to 'spank the unruly', but is mainly civilian, unprepared, inept in military
matters, Madden appeals to the legendary anti-US freedom fighter Andres
Bonifácio's homonymous grandson Captain Andrés Bonifácio, who is luckily
rescued from a POW dead march, to inspire the resistance -once his own
fighting spirit is rekindled- with him in a still very unsure war,
retaliated by bloody, ten to one repression. When the Japanese realize the
people side against them, they stage fake independence under imperial prince
Ito, but are betrayed. While the tide of war turns against Japan all around
the Pacific, the bitter fight intensifies further...

Hondo Lane, a despatch rider for the cavalry, encounters Angie Lowe, a woman
living alone with her young son in the midst of hostile Apache territory.
She presumes she is safe because the Apaches, under their chief Vittorio,
have always left them alone. Later Lane has a run-in with Angie's reprobate
husband and is forced to kill him, not knowing who he is. Vittorio captures
Lane and to save his life, Angie tells the Apache chief that Lane is her
husband, unaware that Lane has killed her real husband. In order to protect
her from a forced marriage with one of the Apache, Lane reluctantly goes
along with the lie, though he knows the truth must eventually come out, to
Vittorio and to Angie, both.
