Paul,

You must have a 64 bit system or it wouldnt have loaded 64 bit .... you can
still run 32 bit programs
it just puts them in Program Files (x86) and I dont think you can go back to
32 bit with a 64 bit system

It's going to see your system and load for that I dont think it will give
you an option to choose.

Hope this helps. Roggue

You'll need to get a cd/dvd of win 7 32 bit and then format your hard
drive and install the 32 bit system. If you decide to do this your system won't
recognize all the ram you have and possibly certain programs won't run
properly. GL.

Now you do realize there is a 32 bit and 64 bit Program Files Folder to
utilize when installing programs.

if you upload it will allow you to upload more than a 1 gig file ... other
than that there is no pro to it. Speed won't change 1 bit like advertised.

Well I beg to differ about the DL Speed, with free pando my speeds were in
the 125's maybe 180 on a good day. pay-pando most of the time it's about
3-somthing but can go to the 500's..

With rapidshare costing 54.99 Euros= $74.82 Bux American !!

I think, and it's just me but 24.99 is well worth it.

there are lots of different things that determine your dl speed. My max
speed supplied by my ISP is 3 mb. when i run pando and watch my ul/dl
manager i usually get 3.2 mb dl speed so im maxed out with the free version.
there is also the fact of possibly 500 people getting the same file compared to
50 getting it which will affect your speed of dling also.

NOTICE-File attachment size has increased on AOL

Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:12 pm (PST)

I just confirmed this, and wanted to let everyone know... if you are
going to upload a file to AOL, you no longer need to limit them to 16meg file
sizes.. you can now do 25Meg file attachments... whoo hoo!!!

from AOL.....

Size limit for e-mail file attachments

You can send and receive e-mail messages up to 25 megabytes (MB) in size
in the AOL® service. This includes the message text, headers, and
attachments. If the file that you are trying to transfer exceeds 25 MB, you will have
to either compress the file or split it into smaller parts.

attached is a pic showing proof

i uploaded a file 24.4 mb to myself to test it and works just fine

I tried it once and it crashed my whole system several times so I guess
aohell don't like custom built systems so I will stay away from it. I had it
on my system for a whole 3 days and found it was nothing more than a virus
and ate the hell out of my registry and would not let me keep my setting and
fought with my system so it is not worth it to me to use them on top of that

Nearly 200 Million Phone Customers Just Say 'No!'
Updated: 3 hours 7 minutes ago

Broderick Perkins Contributor
(Feb. 7) -- Many consumers will shop until they drop, but not if you call
them at home to hawk your goods and services.

Indicating just how deeply consumers despise telemarketing, the federal Do
Not Call Registry effort has put the kibosh on telemarketing calls to nearly
200 million telephone numbers in the United States.

"Consumers who have joined the registry have reported dramatic reductions in
the number of unwanted calls they receive," according to the Federal Trade
Commission.

Since the inception of the DNC registry in June 2003, the FTC has registered
191 million phone numbers, raised more than $15 million in fees and levied
$22 million in fines against violators who insist on telemarketing when they
shouldn't.

The FTC said 18 million new numbers were added to the registry in 2009.

The DNC registry allows anyone to block most telemarketing come-ons by
adding their landline or cell phone numbers to the registry. You can
register by phone (888-382-1222; TTY 866-290-4236) or online.

Federal Trade Commission
Nearly 200 million phone numbers have been added to the federal Do Not Call
Registry since its inception in June 2003.

Calls from political solicitation organizations, nonprofit organizations and
charities registered with the DNC are exempt from blocking.

Calls are also permitted from companies with which consumers have created an
"established business relationship" – meaning you've made a purchase within
18 months or an inquiry within three months. Those organizations, however,
must comply with consumers' individual requests for them not to call.

Calls from services taking polls or surveys are not covered by the DNC.

Once consumers sign up for the DNC, they can expect to see telemarketing
calls from nonexempt operations end after 31 days. Telemarketers must
subscribe with the DNC and "scrub" their lists of new DNC numbers every 31
days.

DNC violators can be fined up to $16,000 per prohibited call.

Originally, DNC registrations were good for five years from the date of the
most recent registration. But now, once a phone number is listed on the DNC,
it remains there forever unless the phone owner removes the number or the
number is disconnected and reassigned to another customer.

Late last year, both the FTC and Federal Communications Commission banned
most so-called "robocalls," typically telemarketing calls delivering a
prerecorded message, rather than connecting a consumer to a live person.

In January, the FCC also proposed further regulations to require robocall
rule compliance by those outside the FTC's jurisdiction – telephone
companies, airlines, banks and insurance companies.

Under the proposal, companies would have to obtain consumers' "express
written consent" to receive prerecorded telemarketing calls, and the
robocall would have to include an automated interactive "opt-out" mechanism
so consumers could reject further robocalls.

there is a more technical way to do it that the way i'm going to tell you
but this is much easier. I'm assuming you are using Win XP. Go to My
Computer, c: drive, Program Files and in there you'll have a folder labeled
.. "MESSENGER" . What you'll need to do is make 100% sure it's not running,
(open task manager and end any instance of it) After it's totally stopped
just rename the messenger folder to "Messenger.old" and hit enter ... If it
allows you to rename the folder like that then on your next reboot it won't
pop up and run like it used to.

As for AOL still coming back ... you didn't uninstall it correctly.

I've had 3 built systems in the past 10 years and more name brand computers
than I can count and I've never had aol troubles. I haven't pd for aol for a
good 5 years now so not sure the situation with billing. (unless you're in
another country then they may still charge)

My laptop has it (thanks HP) and its been 6 months and I'm still trying to
remove it. It comes back!
I'll remove something and next reboot its back! I wish computer makers would
quit installing all the added crap. If they want to give customers Juno, AOL
and Yahoo put a disc in the box.

Now does anyone know the trick to get MSN messenger to go away?

I tried it once and it crashed my whole system several times so I guess
aohell don't like custom built systems so I will stay away from it. I had it
on my system for a whole 3 days and found it was nothing more than a virus
and ate the hell out of my registry and would not let me keep my setting and
fought with my system so it is not worth it to me to use them on top of that
they tried to take more money than was owed to them more than once even
after I canceled my service I only used for 3 days.. I will never use them
again and would never tell anyone to use them or there virus infected
service... only my opinion on it but I know from experience that they do not
like custom built systems at all.. Crazyhorse.

AOL itself is a VIRUS! If you have AOL installed and try to delete it, your
computer will slowly crash! Believe me, this happened to my brother. Do not
believe AOL and reformat your computer without AOL services.... ....

Nearly 200 Million Phone Customers Just Say 'No!'
