crap.. shoulda explained better.. after you select that way to unpack,,
you will still get the corruption message but the movie will be there after..
unlike when you don't keep broken files.. I've done this maybe 20 times
and the movies are always just fine. this is also the info given from
techies.

*What you need to do is create a new folder and put the avi file and the srt
file in that folder together. Make sure that the srt file has the same name
as the avi file. So if the avi is called m-legion.avi make sure that the srt
file is called m-legion.srt.
Open the movie file how you normally would to view it and hopefully your
movie player will pick up the subs.
I found that Gom Player wouldn't show the subs no matter what I did, but as
soon as I opened it in Windows Media Player they were there. I also put the
folder on my thumb drive and watched it via usb on my divx player and the
subs were there.
