that is awesome.. I have not really met anyone famous or anything but I have
been to the houses or should I say summer homes or maybe winter homes of a
few of them when they where being built and wow all I can say is I have no
idea how it would be to have a house that big or in such a pretty area up in
the mountains... Crazyhorse.

yea ill have to agree its pretty cool when i use to go to chucks house i
would always go to office and see all his trophies he has and pics you would
die for let me tell you, yea i can go on for ever with the famous people

lol. ya I bet you can.. your just one of the lucky ones that are able to
meet them like you do.. I think it would be cool but I guess all in all they
are just people like we are they are just famous and have a hell of a lot
more money than most of us do..lol. I here some of them are really cool and
others are just real ass holes but I guess like any of us there are good and

A few months ago I had problems with packages 'getting lost' over night . I
have Pro .
I installed the newer version and it really helped with downloads plus speed
.
But my speeds still very from 16k to 125k for downloading and only about 4k
to upload .

I have been using Pando for years and I have always downloaded at night
between 12 midnight and 8 in the morning. I have had as many as 12 movies
totally downloaded the next morning. I live in the Deep South in the U.S.,
so this is pretty much the time that Pando usually is used the least and the
servers are not so bogged down. Now if a person lives in another country
where there is a big time difference and it would be day here when it's
night in their country they should be able to download during their daytime
hours. I'm just guessing that the majority of Pando users live in the states
I may be wrong about this, but the downloads are faster at late night for
me. Pando also works much better when you are not doing anything else on
your computer. If you are downloading e-mail, playing games, surfing the net
etc; all of these will slow Pando down. I have also seen a lot of e-mails
saying they have not been able to use resume with the new version. Again
this has been no problem for me at all, nor do my Pando downloads disappear
if I re-boot my computer and I'm using the newest version of Pando. I'm
having none of the problems that I keep seeing coming through the groups. I
m running Windows 7 32 bit and do use Pando Pro. This does make me wonder if
the people that are having all these problems are free users only. If this
is the case it's possible Pando may have done something to just the free
users, but this is just a guess. Pando over the years have had these
problems when they update the program at times. It usually takes them
anywhere from two weeks to two months to find out what is causing it and fix
it. Hopefully people won't have to wait this long especially if enough are
complaining to Pando about it. My suggestion at this point would be for
everyone that is having problems to go here http://www.pandonetworks

PANDO INFORMATION
 
Recently Pando has been wiping out all files uploading, downloading, or stored
in the Pando Program. This is not a normal behavior even for Pando and the problem
is being reported by various users. As we wait for a solution there's no reason for you
to not become pro-active in trying to recoup your losses. Especially if it will save you
hours of time and the efforts you've already lost.
 
Here are some Tips I've written to hopefully help some of you who have experienced
this annoyance, which I have experienced twice myself.
Though, I have a tweaked out fast Pando I don't download anything through Pando, ever. 
I find what I want or need and use download links which are much faster for me, so I use
Pando for Uploading only. But, all of my Pando Uploads I shared have disappeared.
 
Here's a Pando Tip for those who were
downloading or uploading and lost everything:
Keep in mind, this is not a "magic bullet". If you want to
avoid starting over from scratch there is some effort involved.
 
1. If you were downloading a file and it disappeared from your
Pando "Received Folder"

A.Go to wherever you have your Pando Packages stored, most use
the default folder created by Pando, called "My Pando Packages".
 
B. Find the file you were downloading by it's name
(Example. In this Pando folder--->PROGRAM-ImTOO. DVD.Creator6. 0.7.0329,
is the file named ---> DVD-creator6. exe.downloading).
Files that have not finished downloading will still have the
extension .downloading at the end if them.
Double click the file you want and your download
will resume in your Pando Program.
 
Example:
It has resumed it's normal downloading.
 
2. If you were uploading a file and it disappeared from your Pando
"Sent Folder"
 
A. Go to your Pando Cache folder:
*AppData & Application Data are hidden folders-
Make sure you have 'Show hidden files and folders checked.
*
OS XP path: C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Applicatio n Data\Pando\Pando Files
 
OS VISTA path: C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\ Local\Pando\ Pando Files

B. Now, find the file you were uploading my it's name.
Example, CoffeeCup SoftWare -12in1- [BEST] (AIO).pando
 
If the file uploaded successfully and completely, there should be THREE
of them for the file. TWO of them are encrypted, ONE will say "PANDO File"
and ONE will say "ABS File". Also to redownload this file
as a fresh download just click on the name of the file.
If there is only ONE file (With the name of the file, Ex. CoffeeCup),
the upload wasn't successful and if you click on it there's a chance you'll
get an error message but if you reupload it from the original file,
it will resume exactly where it left off. See example below.
This one jumped to 15% immediately.
So if your upload was almost completely finished, the reuploaded 
one will be also.
 
*If you've already cleaned your Pando Cache and emptied your recycle bin
these steps will not work. You will have to upload your files from the beginning.
But, non-emptied Recycle Bins can restore deleted Pando Cache files*E

PANDO INFORMATION
 
Recently Pando has been wiping out all files uploading, downloading, or stored
in the Pando Program. This is not a normal behavior even for Pando and the problem
is being reported by various users. As we wait for a solution there's no reason for you
to not become pro-active in trying to recoup your losses. Especially if it will save you
hours of time and the efforts you've already lost.
 
Here are some Tips I've written to hopefully help some of you who have experienced
this annoyance, which I have experienced twice myself.
Though, I have a tweaked out fast Pando I don't download anything through Pando, ever. 
I find what I want or need and use download links which are much faster for me, so I use
Pando for Uploading only. But, all of my Pando Uploads I shared have disappeared.
 
Here's a Pando Tip for those who were
downloading or uploading and lost everything:
Keep in mind, this is not a "magic bullet". If you want to
avoid starting over from scratch there is some effort involved.
 
1. If you were downloading a file and it disappeared from your
Pando "Received Folder"

A.Go to wherever you have your Pando Packages stored, most use
the default folder created by Pando, called "My Pando Packages".
 
B. Find the file you were downloading by it's name
(Example. In this Pando folder--->PROGRAM-ImTOO. DVD.Creator6. 0.7.0329,
is the file named ---> DVD-creator6. exe.downloading).
Files that have not finished downloading will still have the
extension .downloading at the end if them.
Double click the file you want and your download
will resume in your Pando Program.
 
Example:
It has resumed it's normal downloading.
 
2. If you were uploading a file and it disappeared from your Pando
"Sent Folder"
 
A. Go to your Pando Cache folder:
*AppData & Application Data are hidden folders-
Make sure you have 'Show hidden files and folders checked.
*
OS XP path: C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Applicatio n Data\Pando\Pando Files
 
OS VISTA path: C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\ Local\Pando\ Pando Files

B. Now, find the file you were uploading my it's name.
Example, CoffeeCup SoftWare -12in1- [BEST] (AIO).pando

Fist let me thank Candy for going to the trouble of putting together this
excellent tutorial. I am sure that it will come in very handy for those who
have recently experienced the problem.

Now, let me address Richard's post below. With all due respect, "It did not
work" is not correct. You couldn't do it because, as you said "i cleaned
out pando cache." People, let's start being a little more accurate around
here. What you said is kind of like someone telling Microsoft that "Restore
to an earlier date didn't work because I deleted all of my restore points."
Candy's solution would have worked, had you been able to try it. Since you
deleted your Pando cache, by your own admission, you couldn't even try it.
Don't say something doesn't work until you actually try it, and then it
doesn't work.
