dr who is a time lord .awsome its on bbcaÂ but these are the new season .I would love any of the first 4 seasons if they have or i am going to have to keep watching once a week for reruns i watch them over and over

I didn't take it personally because that's exactly what I said.
Yes, Australians if you're going to make a generalisation, are completely
uncouth. We drink way too much, and swear like troupers, and smoke like
chimneys... all that stuff! The Crocodile Dundee and the Crocodile Hunter,
and the Aussie accent stereotypes you might occasionally see on TV are
pretty accurate. And I'm not offended by it. I look around and think
Strewth!"
And no I don't live in the outback, if you paid any attention you would
notice that 95% of the population of Australia live by the coast, the
outback is very sparsely populated.
And anyway I have watched the fourth episode now where everything came
together and the town pulled together and the DJ went with Jamie and met
people and changed his mind and everything worked out lovely in the end.
But I guess you don't want to hear about that! You just want me to bash all
Americans which is not what I was doing! I voiced my opinion on a few
specific people on one TV show set in one town, good Lord. Why are you so
offended? Are you one of those people? Me giving my little opinion is not
tantamount to a world war! Get a grip!

members of my family have degrees), respect others, go to church, contribute
to our community, and know what the word "manners" means.
We don't act rude to others, we don't treat others like they are inferior
and we surely know the difference between reality and television. It's
funny to me that the rest of the world can watch a show put on by some
network trying to maufacture good ratings, and assume that what they view is
historically correct. Looking at the above example, imagine what we
Americans would think of the other peoples of the world if we would take the
same stance?
It's ok though. I truely understand. How Americans are portrayed
throughout the world is so slanted that nothing I could ever say will change
anyone's mind. Especially a closed one. To think, the United States is made
up from all the peoples of the earth, yet it seems that the only thing the
other countries of the world can do is criticize anything American.
No problem though. Keep on bashing. Next time the world gets clobbered by
another Hitler like dictator, call someone who cares. It won't be us! We'll
most likely be watching TV...

A very good friend of mine (met online, never in person) is from Australia
and she's one of the sweetest people I know and very thoughtful, so my
opinion of Australians is quite different than what was said by others. You
have every right to state your opinion and yes they behaved exatly as you
said....noting wrong in calling it like you see it. :)

Thank you. I think the ppl who are mad at me for my opinion (whish is all I
ever said it was) maybe haven't watched the show and don't know what
Behaviour it is that I was commenting on.
Nowhere did I say all Americans are "bad" or "rude" or "uneducated" or
anything.. If I think American's are so awful then why have I married two
of them?
What I vented was my frustration in reaction to those specific people and
how they acted and what they actually did say. It's on camera Zapper, they
did actually say and do these things! There's irrefutable proof!
Sorry to offend anyone, but if anyone here is one of the people off the show
I would quite happily say what I think of you to your face too.
I was not bad mouthing America or all American's, I was just commenting on
three episodes of a reality TV show. That's all. I'm sure lots of other
people do the same, And if you just watched it, you'd probably have the same
reaction I did because they were pretty appalling.

Oh hun, I didn't take offense to what you said at all, I just wanted to be
sure you knew that's not the normal way we act. I have come across some
from other states as well as countries that think we do! I didn't mean for
you to think I was saying you said all americans are bad or nything like
that. I was agreeing with what you said about those particular women and I
fussed each week about them and how they acted, especially ALICE! You have
every right to vent your frustrations and thoughts, afterall, its the
American way...freedom of speech!!
