Well I tried that and after the first one was done, the DVD popped out.

convertxtodvd and the joining programs to do it alot quicker on my system.

guess I"m lucky, cuz I load both parts into convertxtodvd and burn it...it
joins both into one movie...that's if I'm burning only that one movie. When
I do multiple movies on a DVD with Nero it plays one after the other. It
must be something that is set in the settings of the program, but I dont
have a clue as to what it would be, sorry.

pause it's the easiest way I have found to do it....otherwise I have a
program here to join avi's (Boilsoft Video Joiner) that will join the 2
parts without any pause whatsoever if they were split properly and I am
happy to send that either off group or on group (because it relates to
movies) if Gail allows me to share it here.*

If you use nero it'll join the 2 parts as you burn it .. no pause .. 100%
seamless.
