If you are joining an avi file with HJSplit then you are altering the avi
file before you do so. Hjsplit will only recognize a file with an ext.
ending in .001, .002, .003 and so forth.

I don't know much about the tv card, this is the first that I am hearing about it. I do however have my entire entertainment system connected to my pc though my VCR and a piece of hardware that I bought called a Dazzle. The software that I use with it is a program called my dvd, but there are many out there. The Dazzle lets you connect your 3 cords or a S-video cable to it then connects to the pc in a USB port.

What format are you recording from the tv to your computer Manny?
