I haven't updated yet, and am having the same problem.

In a message dated 04/06/10 11:00:45 Central Daylight Time, ch5847@gmail.com writes:

A couple of years ago Pando came out with a new update after having the best version they ever made that worked for everybody great. For at least a couple of months most people had major problems, the main one being that downloads crept like a turtle. There was some though, that never had the problem. It created all sorts of problems because those that were not having any problems were uploading with the newest version. Within a couple of weeks anybody that had reverted back to an older version could not download anything that was uploaded with the newer version and if they went back to the newer version it would take days to download anything. If I'm remembering correctly it took Pando about two and half months to resolve the problem. I was one that was having a major problem with downloads at that time. Luckily this time I am having no problems. I have tried pausing and restarting downloads and they work. I have re-booted my computer and the downloads are still there when I
re-start and will resume. The downloads are still coming down between 350kb's and 500kb's. Hopefully this will be resolved much faster than it was two years ago for everyone having problems. Thanks!

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with an update or not. Members have had this happen (including me) for more than just this past week. Mine did it to me Everytime I rebooted with my older computer a couple months ago but once i'm back on my newer computer I haven't had it happen even once.

In a message dated 4/6/2010 1:17:39 A.M. Central Daylight Time, msmolt@gmail.com writes:

Seagate FreeAgent Theater HD Media Player Solution (Media Player Dock, PC
Dock and FreeAgent GO 250GB Portable External Hard Drive)

They are not in the stores. Have to order it online. I ordered mine
SiteToStore and there is no shipping cost that way. It said it would take it
7 to 10 days to get there. I ordered it on a Monday night and it was there
Wednesday at noon. It was actually shipped FedEx to Walmart.

you can get them from ebay for 50 dollars, with free shipping, its where I
got mine, and you can use any external drive, not only the seagate ones that
fit in the dock. I have a 1.5 tb drive I got from walmart for 160. They have
different sizes, and different price ranges

Hi Tammy,

when you get to that screen use the Arrow buttons to hilight the movie you
want to
watch, you will then see a little circle in the lower left of the tv it will
say Loading then just hit the Select button on the remote, give it a few sec
s and you should be good to go.

Very simple to set up and it also has a USB connection on the front. You can
use flash drives or even another external hard drive here. This way you can
actually have the 250 gig hard drive that comes with it and also connect
other external hard drives or flash drives. All of my externals work with it
and they range from 250 gigs to terabytes. I put movies on them and also on
a 8 gigabyte flash drive and the movies all played great. This is the best
thing that I have found since discovering how to put 5 to 6 movies on a DVD
in 6 minutes without converting them and playing them on a Divx player. Just
a great buy.

Thanks Roggue, that's what I was thinking, I hate to pay double price, even
tho its double storage. I do burn keepers to DVD like u said, but I would
use this for when we travel in RV so it uses less room than taking hundreds
of DVD movies. It does work with regular TV too doesn't it? My RV tv's are
not HD.

They are not in the stores. Have to order it online. I ordered mine

most movies are about 800 megs, you could easily get at least 250. Of course
the one's like Avatar are well over a gigabyte, but if you have an external
hard drive there is an extra USB plug-in on the front and it will work great
plugged in to it.

Awesome!
I was wondering if a flash drive would work! That is great! I am going to order the one you posted from Wal-Mart for my mother, Her birthday is the 28th!
I'll fill up the hard drive with movies and she will be set for months!
She is always asking me to burn this or that movie for her and this will make it so much easier for me. I can just put them on her flash drive and go and save on discs, I hate burning cams and things I know she will never watch again. May get my brat one too...under $100 for the unit and the hard drive isn't bad at all.

There is another one too, The plus? It hooks up with a HDMI...
