Thanks Roggue, that's what I was thinking, I hate to pay double price, even
tho its double storage. I do burn keepers to DVD like u said, but I would
use this for when we travel in RV so it uses less room than taking hundreds
of DVD movies. It does work with regular TV too doesn't it? My RV tv's are
not HD.

Hi Skye,

230 movies in avi format { an avi is from 715,584KB=about 3/4gig to
1.432,850gig=1 1/2gig} and thats a shi~ tone of movies, you can always burn
your keepers to dvd at about 5 maybe 6 to one dvd. That sed it depends on
your pocket 500gig is more $$ then the 250 and IMHO 250 it plenty because I
dont use it for storage.

Hope this helps.

not even download them) because they are usually so bad, it was useless to
burn them to a DVD. With this Free Agent Theater I now can preview all my
movies and if they are extremely good I will burn them to DVD. I even
downloaded and watched some cams. Good thing is if the movie is not good or
if it's a cam, I can just delete them. Not only am I happy with this, but I
now can view all my digital pictures, digital movies I make, and play all my
music with this one piece of equipment. Now I know that all this can be done
on my computer, but I will not watch movies on my computer and which is
better. A 22 inch monitor or a 52 Television. I'll take the T.V. everytime.
This was money well spent because it will save on the amount of DVD's and
DVD blank cases I will have to buy. It is just a great product for the price
and I highly recommend it to all. Now if only some new movies would come out
Has anyone else noticed that there have been very few movies lately and
there have been no screeners, R5's etc; of the one's that are out now?
Wonder what is going on. Thanks!

Hi Tammy,

when you get to that screen use the Arrow buttons to hilight the movie you
want to
watch, you will then see a little circle in the lower left of the tv it will
say Loading then just hit the Select button on the remote, give it a few sec
s and you should be good to go.

Problem is the movie/show is only on one side of the screen and pretty small
The other side is the list of what's on the drive . Anyone know how to make
it full screen?
The instructions are pretty useless and only show how to hook it up.

Other then the tiny box I love this thing!

I got mine for $119.00, I had bought another external Seagate hard drive a few months ago and registered it. They send special offers to people who are registered and just so happened they sent me something I actually wanted!

I did see them on EBay with a 250 GB hard drive for $159.00

Ok, I have Pando installed. I click on a movie and it tells me I have a package and it should start downloading. When I open my Pando window there is nothing there? What am I doing wrong? I do have Pando open.

Amy

stop feeling guilty...............take a long look at those who help you ok? now imagine they are in your position and you help them out ...........would you want them to feel guilty that you help them? I doubt it........be thankful and blessed that you have them in your life and that they love  and care about you enough to NOT let you go thru this alone. Wow, look at all that love, so STOP FEELING GUILTY. Accept the love hon! its really ok  you have NOTHING to be guilty of.

I would have to say the Seagate FreeAgent Theater HD Media Player is the
better one but they are both good ones but it depends on what you want or
need... here is the links to check them both out on the seagate website.

http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/home_entertainment/freeagent_theater_plus/

http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?name=ST902503CEA1E1-RK-fa-theater-250gb-hd&vgnextoid=3e0017e4fe101210VgnVCM1000001a48090aRCRD&locale=en-US

as for how many movies you will fit on a 250Gb well the standard movie movie
is about 700 mb so that being the case you will fit about about 360 movies
and that will be 246.09375 .... gigabytes if the movies are 700 Mb each but
they very in size so you will get a few more or less on it..

I hope this info helps ya out... Crazyhorse.
