Tried to start laptop and it says that a file is missing and won't let the
operating system open. I have no cd's to try to fix it. I'm hoping someone
here can help me so I won't have to take it to a shop. If anyone has an
operating system they'd be willing to share I would appreciate it so much. I
don't care what one it is, I had xp professional on it. But if there's any
way to get one with keys for full install that would be even better.

restart your computer and it should work.. I also have windows 7 and had to
just wait till it worked but if you restart your computer it should fix the
problem...

I myself use the Beta version of office 2010 it is free on the net if you
google office 2010. I have it on several computers & on all of mine.. it
works great and has no issues that I have found at all.. it is a beta
version though and will only be good for about a year but I am sure by the
time it expires someone will have the full version of it on the net to
download.. I think the only other one that will work on windows 7 is office
2007 but I could be wrong.. I have every version of office myself and so far
I like 2010 much better than any of the other versions of it out to date...

It beeps each time I push it but does nothing else. The screen is now black

Ok you can turn it on hold down the F11 key and it will restore it back the
way it was when it was bought.

when you get to that screen use the Arrow buttons to hilight the movie you
want to
watch, you will then see a little circle in the lower left of the tv it will
say Loading then just hit the Select button on the remote, give it a few sec
s and you should be good to go.
