I put series of TV shows on a DVD, Nurse Jackie all on 1 dvd and all players
in my house play divx, which will play the avi burned as data.
they are usually inexpensive. the $29 machine at walmart plays divx, the
higher priced one didn't.
I chose to burn 3 or 4 movies to a disk as data and play on divx machines.

no converting either.
