If I remember right, the people associated with this movie made a big deal
about how their only concern was to tell the true story.
Of course, lining their pockets with little or no money going to the main
characters the movie was based on never was considered....ugh huh...
I bet those 5000 "nasty" torrent users really put a dent into the predicted
10 million DVD that are being sold...Oh the humanity...

The producers of The Hurt Locker have officially filed a suit against 5,000 BitTorrent users for copyright law violations.
Voltage Pictures is seeking $1,500 from each defendant in order to settle the suit, making it one of the biggest lawsuits against individuals in history. The suit warns people named that a failure to settle will result in the case being taken to court, where the plaintiffs will seek 10 times that amount.
Voltage does not have have the names of the defendants, but it does have a list of IP addresses for them.

Oh they are only covering up their asses for screwing up and not having any
proper security to protect their product, what a bunch of idiots. Also this
happen with them before I believe another major screw up on their part. And

It is always up to you what you do with any info you might get.
I haven't had a crash or disaster in years.
What viruses have tried to get by, so far they have always got caught...(knockin' on wood)
And my 'puter is always fast...even with that "slow" comodo...LOL
I just have it set up for me, and do my usual maintenance to keep it that way...
But hey, it seems like you have it all ok on your end.
Let me know how it goes with all that "ad-ware" you got.

I depend on http://malwarebytes.org/ it works well for me .
I had spybot installed , hated it and it took over a month to un install it
I was grrrrrrrrrr at spybot but : whatever floats it is up to the user /
owner of the pc .

I don't mean any offense by this, but there seems to be an awful lot of

A hijacked email address doesn't happen from being on a yahoo group,it happens from your own email address. Someone got into their email address and are using it sending emails out to their address book. Has nothing to do with them being on this group other than the groups email address is in their address book.
Also, this group has almost 1900 members so the incident rate is higher.

I don't mean any offense by this, but there seems to be an awful lot of people in this group getting their email addresses hijacked. I'm a moderator for a group with over 8000 people in it and I've never seen all of this happen. Just an observation I've seen.

I understand that the rate will be higher with a large group like this, but
I've only ever had a handful of these cases in my group with over 8000
members. Could it be that these people aren't protecting themselves or that
there could possibly be someone in this group doing it? I will say though
that this is THE best pando group I've ever been in and the most relaxed.
Too many rules and send requirements in the other ones.

It generally happens with either downloading something or not protecting your computer. And actually this is the second time for this member. I honestly don't have this happen often at all with members. I does help to change your password to your email accounts occassionally
