Mike, why do you insist on this? I have been using JDownloader for 3 years
now on two computers... XP and Win7. I've used Pando version previous to
xxx.9.. no problem and with my new computer at Christmas, I installed xxx.9
on it with Jdownloader there. I don't know what it is about your system
that causes a problem.. maybe incredimail? I don't use that.

btw.. forgot to say.. in this process I learned why my pando was slow...
nothing to do with JDownloader but that I had installed it on one of my
externals when I got my new computer, I just moved it from one computer to
the other using that and forgot it was now operating from the external...
nothing to do with JDownloader. Its a wonderful loader and doesn't inter
with Pando at all.

I know the rules here are mandatory Pando sends once a week so I'm leaving
for now at least until Pando can come out with a new version for windows 7
folks. I have grown to enjoy so many of you but am sure I will see you on
other Pando groups. :-)

Where did you get that requirements are you have to send once a week and it's mandatory!!!! ???? I have NO SEND REQUIREMENTS IN THIS GROUP! it is not mandatory to send to the group. only thing that is mandatory is anything you do send be via pando and movies and tv shows....... .......I even allow lerkers, so there is no reason to leave the group for that reason.

*It may be the file format, check to make sure that they are mp3's that you
are trying to burn. That is the only thing that I can think of that may
cause it.

I have not used Windows media player to burn mp3's in years,I find it very slow and it's a slow process,I use Nero to burn my music cd's or data dvd's and it burns FASTER,it's been a good 12yrs since I have been using the different flavors of Nero,I would never ever go back to Windows media player to burn music,it's just too slow,before I tried Nero I used Roxio to burn and found it just as slow as Windows Media player and when I found Nero,it was so much faster,and Nero burns everytime,no problem with it and mp3's,Nero is compatable with all the latest music files out there whether they are mp3's or mp4's.

That is correct. If you burn it with Windows Media Player and in the wma
format, it may not play on all cd players.
I use Ashampoo Burning Studio for all my music cd's and burn them all in
mp3 format. I am able to play them on my home audio center and in my car, as
well as on the computer.

Hello new friends I'm a very new member and I have very little computer experience.Can anyone tell me how to convert downloads such as movies so they will play in my dvd player. Do I need a special download or converter of some kind.

yes. There are tons of programs to convert your movies for a DVD player.
As such, we use different ones.
ConvertXToDVD is what I use. Others like Nero, AnyDVD, AShampoo Burning
Studio, etc.
You will now probably be bombarded with them. I'll send you what I have.

Hi Cathy,I use ConvertXtoDVD3 anytime I download a movie,I download it to my desktop,bring up ConvertXtoDVD3,I add the movie I want to convert,I don't have it or I would send it thru to the group,but you can request it and hopefully someone will have it and send it on thru,it's a GREAT program to use and I find it very easy to use too.

this morning that will show you how to use it with step by step

The portable version can be run from a flash drive, cd or just put in a
folder on your hard drive, there's no need to install it.

Well ok all but out of here with just one more thing to say dear. I did not
have a pando problem till I installed your jdloader to see if that was what
your problem was and low and be hold it did the same thing you was
complaining about to my pando end of story . Then to fix my own pando
problem that jdownload did to my pando. The only way I got my pando back was
to take everything jdloader installed including the Java it said it had to
have. And uninstall pando and reinstall it that's the only way it would
install. So from that stand point I know what your problem is weather you
wont to except it or not that's up to you. I know what it did to me and what
it took to get it back that's all. I also know there is nothing wrong with
the new download from pando. This is with your PC And jddownloader and pando
not being compatable nothing else So good luck with your problem. Huns and
Kiss's and off we go.

Hi Mike.. JDownloader has absolutely nothing to do with Pando so I don't get
that. Also, I have gone folder by folder in every user.. but everything was
in Owner for me with Win7. Nothing was left behind after CCleaner scanned.
Pando has requested my install files and I've sent them to them. I did read
them in the process and there were many, many "failures" in it. They have
nothing to do with my computer or its setup but with their program.. it may,
however, have to do with Win7 and them not writing the program correctly to
install in it. I'm waiting on them to go through them and tell me what to
do... they've implied, as of now, that they will be coming out with xxxx.11
to correct the problem.

Goodmorning Mike.. wish I could say it worked but didn't. I had already run
CCleaner getting rid of all remnants after uninstall.. there was however,
one obsolete button left in the registery this morning.. got that out an ran
a cleaner scan about 5 more times just to be sure. Clean as a whistle. I
think Windows 7 or this new version doesn't have all the file you speak of
here. There was no .txt file for instance.. there is a cert sub folder eith
a .pem file in it, then a .log file and a .save file in the in the main
Pando File folder. Never saw a text file.. cleaned out except for those
(you have to leave no trace of pando ever being installed) The program
still doesn't work. Think I said, I don't understand why this new one has
to be "run as adminstrator" to even open as 2.5.0.9 didn't so I think its
something in the way the program installs. I connects to the net just fine.
online button on, options/advanced/test connection passes, subscribed to
several channels and they all start downloading. I just can't load a .pando
file to it. About to cry.
I posted to the forum at Pando and it truly appears no one there really
cares.. so many posting with problems. There's no way to contact them other
than at the Blog site for businesses but I did sent a letter from there so
we'll see. There is someone else on this or another Pando group I'm on
having this same problem. Once you uninstall, Pando will not let you
reinstall without doing it with the new version. When you click your xxxx.9
setup, it makes you download .10.. I feel there is definitely something
wrong with this new version.

uninstalled it ok. Uninstalles just make it look like its uninstalled but
leave the files there. If you don't manually go in and delete the pando
files your going to have problems with the new install. Once you get
everything deleted then run your Registry cleaner but not just once you need
to run it a couple times as when it fixes some problems it creates others.
Here a vista way but XP is almost the same way. I hope this helps you all

These Directions , ONLY for Vista
Make sure your Pando is completely shut down and not running!!!!
Step 1
Right Click on the Windows Bubble (Start), Then Left Click on Explore…
Step 2
From Folder Tree on LEFT SIDE…Click on Computer Local Disk
(C:)Users(whatever your user name is…(i.e.: here its Wendy&James)App
DataLocal….
Step 3
Under the LOCAL Folder Look for the Pando Folder, Click and then Click on
Pando Files. This should open the Pando Files Folder on the RIGHT HAND SIDE
of the pane window.
Step 4
Delete all Folders and Files EXCEPT FOR CERT, Pando (text Document), Pando
prev, and Pando (Save File)
Shown below:
Step 5
When all you have left in your Pando Files Folder are these 4 files, Empty
your recycle bin, restart your computer and your Pando Cache should be all
nice and clean and ready for more downloads and uploads.

To convert a movie you have downloaded to a DVD that you can watch on any
DVD player you need to convert it and then burn it to a DVD. I use ConvertX
to DVD because its very simple. The time it takes depends on the speed of
your computer. If your computer is slow...I suggest you do not run any other
programs while you are working.
Supplies needed:
DVD Burner (Your choice in brand)
Sony 24X Sata DVD/CD Rewritable Drive Black AD-7240S-0B
DVD Recorder - SATA - Internal
This is a 24x DVD+/-RW DL SATA Internal Hard Drive.

10. Test your DVD in your DVD player.
11. Highlight your title set file and click on the red ( x ) to remove your
files so you can add a new file and start all over again.
12. You can also go into the Settings and opt to burn your disc later....and
it will save your converted files in a folder for you so that you can burn
them at another time.

2. Put a DVD-R or DVD-RW in your DVD burner
(highlighted in grey to let me know its ready to burn)
3. Click on the green (+) sign on the right hand side of ConvertX to DVD
4. Browse (another window will pop open for you to browse) to find your
movie you downloaded and double click on the file so it will load into
ConvertX to DVD
6. Click on the (Convert) button down in the right corner it then turns
into the (Cancel) button
7. Converting has started.....7. Converting has started...
Sit back and wait
8. Converting is all most finished.
9. When it burns successfully the program will say..WRITE SUCCESS: Disc
written a new window will open displaying Operation is Complete and your DVD
will be ready. I have mine set to eject when done burning.
10. Test your DVD in your DVD player.
11. Highlight your title set file and click on the red ( x ) to remove
your files so you can add a new file and start all over again.
12. You can also go into the Settings and opt to burn your disc
later....and it will save your converted files in a folder for you so that you can
burn them at another time.

**I am no expert....this is just the way I burn a movie...there may be
better programs out there...that are faster and a easier way to do it. This is
just the way I was showed how to do it.

Hello new friends I'm a very new member and I have very little computer
experience.Can anyone tell me how to convert downloads such as movies so they
will play in my dvd player. Do I need a special download or converter of
some kind.
