I second that,I really enjoyed Band of Brothers and the first two episodes of this have been just as good, probably better as the picture and sound quality are superb. You can only get this in the UK if you subscribe to the SKY+ HD package (which I don't) - So many thanks again.

You are so right. I am next to a best buy, I think I will go over there this weekend. I do have a 3G phone thru at&t. I have retired once after working 32 years at a hospital. I got divorced and until my house sells have to pay the ex 2,000 a month and everything on the house. I felt it was easier not to have to pay for an apt for him let him stay in the house as well and me get out of dodge and make a little money till the house sells.
I can't thank you enough I never would have though of that.

I used to be a travelling IT Software Consultant on the road every week; 5+ days a week. My worst year I spent 300 days in hotels.

You're probably making decent bucks. I was. Plus you might have an expense account. I did.

My hotel, meals, rental car, and limo to/from the airport were covered. If I stayed the weekend all my overhead was covered. So there was a lot of disposable cash.

My point being, treat yourself. You work like a dog and give up family and friends 5 days a week. You do laundry and errands the few days you're home. It's not a great life style. It's very difficult to maintain a personal relationship.

Go to a cell phone store and tell them your story. They can recommend a 3G/4G "phone" you can plug into your laptop. Get a robust service plan with unlimited internet (fast) and you're in business. Have them set it up if you're not comfortable doing it yourself.

So you don't use the hospital internet or the hotel internet. It might be pricey, but like I said, you're making good bucks and can afford it. Have your home TV/internet disconncted and save there.

Watch what you want (go to the channel web sites or www.hulu.com) and download what you want (Pando or Rapidshare) whenever you want.

Treat yourself some more and get a Pando Pro account and a Rapidshare account (probably less than $175 annually for both) and benefit from faster download speeds and multi simultaneous downloads.

At the race track lots of laptops do this so they can get whatever they need from the internet.

As was said, Pando files that are expired can often be downloaded by clicking "ignore". It is a slower download but mostly the files come through.

Yes you can run Win & and Vista by creating a partion and doing what we call a dual boot.

You have a recovery partition on your PC by pressing F10 or F11 on most computers you will go into recovery mode and this will install your OS,but nothing is as good as a disc.

I have also heard about running an XP desktop *WITHIN* the Seven desktop.
Haven't done it; haven't seen it. Viewed it on a Win7 tutorial. Very odd -
it's like a window within Win7 that has a complete XP desktop in that
window. Have to run Win7 Ultimate (I forget which bit version) to do it. I
talked my client out of it saying she got her moneys worth out of the legacy
software and it was time to move on to newer packages. (She has enough
trouble dealing with one desktop; it would have been a difficult transition
to deal with two simultaneous ones).

ImSexy and Michael - if you want the video showng the dual desktops email me
off list and I'll see if I can plow through them and find which one to send
to you.

just for that. About the video I don't need it Hun After installing Win 7
No one should find a need to duel boot. And anyone running Vista should move

Just watch out for that SkyMall catalog. When it's 11:30 PM on Friday
night and you're stressed because everything is running late because
*somewhere in the USA* there's a bad weather system....

and you promised your significant other (or Mother) that you'd be home for
that *special occasion* and it doesn't look like it's going to happen....

the SkyMall catalog starts to look mighty enticing and the "I deserve that"
attitude starts to take over.

Believe me, there's nothing in the SkyMall catalog you *have to have*. ;-)
