Could someone please tell me how I convert an MP4 to AVI format? and which
program would be the best to use? Any advise would be appreciated.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your

AVS Video Converter 6 will convert any format to any format and is very easy

Why can't you use Pando with Windows 7?
I have Windows 7 and no problems with Pando.... It actually works better with 7 then XP for me.

I use DVD Shrink 3.2 to rip my movies. Along with AnyDVD
With these two programs I haven't found anything I cant rip.
Load up AnyDVD then put in the dvd and load DVD Shrink 3.2
And it will look in drive for the movie then just click rip auto rips into
AVI format or you can use a different format. Very easy

*Dora we all use different ones, I use Nero to burn my movies as i find that
easiest for me
a lot of people here use convert x,you will see tutorials for this on the
group every now and then and they also share
the application, apparently it is easy to use too. First you need to check
you have a dvd burner on your pc/laptop
and check if it uses dvd-r or +r discs etc.( it will show that on the disc
drawer)
So get the right discs for your machine,then get convert x ( or whichever
one you choose) then follow the tutorials
then shout for help when you are lost haha
don't worry there are lots of people here to help.

you probably need codecs for the sounds. you can google codecs and
download, it is free. you can go into settings and customize covertx to your
liking.
