if any one has it, and can send it thru pando...I am looking for a copy of
windows xp, home version. A friend of mine had a virus that ate some of her
dlls, and she needs a copy of windows xp to replace the dlls, so she can get
her personal info off the pc before she does a system restore/recovery. And
no, she has no clue where her discs are thanks to a gf who can't stand
clutter and out them "away some where".

if you had xp pro yu could jst do an easy upgrade and possibly the system
would run just fine afterwards and save a system restore.

that is accurate. it creates a folder called windows.old and saves all your
stuff from your old os..

but then all her data would be moved to a folder labeled windows.old and
she'd have to totally reinstall all programs ... if just going from home to
pro then there wouldn't be a need for that.

*Nope. I was at our oldest son's house this weekend and he wanted to get a
few movies. On some we could get sound and no picture. Others worked great.
So I tried getting him some codecs. During the installation I kinda
accidently hit the windows media player classic, which is a much older one
than he had. Needless to say I couldn't figure out how to get the new
version back. He has windows 7 but the vista and if I'm not mistaken he had
the 64 bit?? Anyway, I couldn't get the windows media 11 back I believe .
Also, I couldn't get any other media player to work. Sooooo I need to email
him the windows media player back along with the codecs. UGH!

good morning all,
thanks for all the great sends but I have a question. A couple of movies that have come through are in 2 parts (cd1 and cd2). How or what do I use to put them together on on DVD. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i use convert x to dvd and just put them in in order and they will burn without a problem
