blue ray is a better quality of a movie and is a larger file then a dvd
and from what ive been told by everyone that does have a blue ray player that
you really need a 1080p hd tv to see the quality between dvd and blue ray

I have heard the same thing but I also know the sound quality is much better
it has 7.1 instead of 5.1 like most dvds have so you get a better sound
effect if you have the surround sound system to play it on other wise it is
not any different than what you would get out of a dvd. the picture quality
is better but unless you have a 1080 hd tv you will not notice enough
difference to make it worth it.. me personally I think I will stick with the
good ole dvd's until the prices of blue-rays come down..lol. to spendy for
my budget and not enough difference to make it worth it to me... Crazyhorse.

I also bought a new bigger TV a few months ago and I had to go into the
settings and change something to make the movies fill the full screen. Look
in the book that came with the TV and see if there is a setting you can
tweak to fix this.

Thank you, I will check. Today I bot the HDMI cord to connect my DVD player
to my TV, and I just watched a DVD movie, and I didn't see a difference, I
even unplugged the cord and I saw no change LOL. My TV is a 32 in widescreen
Element. Thanks for the info, I will go play with the settings LOL

You are welcome. I bought the cord too but haven't hooked it up yet. Mine is
a 40 inch Toshiba. I hope the cord makes a difference. My picture is pretty
good but I want it to look better like in the store.

Plot Summary for
The Company of Wolves (1984)
A bag full of symbolic folklore about werewolves, or, rather, their sexual
connotation. Granny tells her granddaughter Rosaleen strange, disturbing
tales about innocent maidens falling in love with handsome, heavily
eyebrowed strangers with a smoldering look in their eyes; about sudden
disappearances of spouses when the moon is round & the wolves are howling in
the woods; about babies found inside stork eggs, in a stork nest high up a
tree; etc., etc. Of course the story of Little Red Ridinghood is also
present, with a very handsome he-wolf! (And of course this he-wolf consumes
Grandmother, but 'consumes' Little Red Ridinghood). All the stories are
somehow reducible to loss of innocence, and fear of/hunger for (a newly
acquired sense of) sexuality; their Freudian character is mirrored in their
dreamlike shapes. This movie is not really a horror movie; it's more a
multiple tale about growing up into adolescence

The VCTF eventually discover this decidedly unconventional family and at first, mistakenly believe the physically abusive eldest brother is the killer. Sam soon realizes, however, that there is another, more emotionally immature force at work. Meanwhile, Bailey realizes his ex-wife, Janet, is seriously involved and considering remarriage. Also, Chloe is upset when Sam invites her new boyfriend, Paul, over for Christmas.

I have a blue ray player,and I love it the clearity of the discs are amazing.Now when I play normal dvds in my blue ray player it upconverts the plain discs to a much better clearity.But there is nothing like a blue ray disc that is displayed in 1080 hd, and surround sound to really fulfill the real theatre experience.As to your not getting the full screen on the tv.Widescreen gives a person more depth of the film being watched.If you like the full screen experience.look on your remote for the tv,or blue ray player if included. press different buttons...get to know your remote and try different different viewings....change is good...change leads to experiences...change is how we learn and grow....cheers!!!

etc., etc. Of course the story of Little Red Ridinghood is also present, with a
very handsome he-wolf! (And of course this he-wolf consumes Grandmother,
but 'consumes' Little Red Ridinghood). All the stories are somehow reducible
to loss of innocence, and fear of/hunger for (a newly acquired sense of)
sexuality; their Freudian character is mirrored in their dreamlike shapes.
This movie is not really a horror movie; it's more a multiple tale about
growing up into adolescence
