Gosh.. that's scarey! All I can say is that I have WMP of course but also
Power2Go and Xilisoft and VLC also.. think there may be others too.. anyway,
they were all installed before I installed Roxio 2010 CPro.. it never
removed anything from my computer. I will look and see what the files are
named so you can see if the poster is the same as the one you installed...
didn't say that right but sure you get what I mean.

Well.. weird.. they aren't the usual .rar files but roxio ones. The only
thing in there that might tell you if you have the same download it the
serial.txt file.. it says:

Roxio Creator 2010 Pro - ESD :

Pat, if I had the problem I would do a system restore. Open System Restore by clicking on your start button, go to All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools and the System Restore. Choose a date before you installed the Roxio program. System Restore should remove it and restore the other programs back. You either have a bad download or corrupt disk and I would not try to reload it. Good Luck

I would not be doing a system restore for this...if you're referring to Pat because what Pat is describing sounds to me like .iso files...these are used by roxio, yes, but all you have to do with an .iso file is using winrar..right click the file and click extract here..this unpacks an .iso file and installs it...i had that with windows office 2007 that I was trying to install. Now, I haven't been following this whole thread but in regards to Roxio..I have it installed on my computer (vista) and it works fine with any dvd programs I have used..I use convertx and have used nero to burn my movies and neither has interfered with roxio or vice versa...also I used windows classic media player to watch shows/movies and never had that interfere with roxio either...i believe roxio was a default program on my computer when I got it though so that might be the difference with my roxio working and yours not working.

Sharing another favorite of mine. There is a scene in the movie where the father finds his son shaving his legs to be a better bicycle racer, that is very close to something that happened to me when I sprained my ankle playing football my Junior year and shaved my leg so I could tape it, and of course my Dad walked past the bathroom door as I was doing it. This scene always makes me laugh. Anyway, enjoy and Semper Fi.

Pat if the sender has removed it from there PC then you get the same message
and if its only on the senders PC and no one else had it downloaded before
the sender removed it well it will set there for ever. People up loading
should not remove the upload till at least 2 downloads show

I get so confused Candy... seriously. I have gone to Wiki, etc to read
about Pando and as far as I can tell its P2P which should mean that the more
people dlin the movie, the faster Pando should be.. called seeding .. from
the peer who originally uploaded. I don't know but I think its just Pando
and their servers not being up to the traffic truthfully... it happens at
rapidshare too although that's not a P2P server. Also, I think that if the
peer turns off their computer.. well, punt LOL until they turn it on again.
I have 5 movies "downloading" right now.. in quotes because they're just
sitting there.. "waiting for sender".. obviously a shut down computer. I
pause and resume now and then but it doesn't help. I fear they'll be gone
entirely before finishing downloading.
