just to add on to what you said here about .mkv files. .mkv files are not
necessarily smaller usually they are about the same size or larger I have
found but they are usually a rip of a blue-ray movie.. they are handled
about the same way as an avi file though and will play just like an avi in
most cases.. just wanted to let you know they are usually a rip of a
blue-ray and they can be bigger files as well..
here is what I found on .mkv files though..

yea that info. you posted about .mkv looks like what i found in the link I sent for the site for her to look at but I don't know about the file size...I have found some that are about the same size as the .avi files but then I have seen a lot that are about half the size as the .avi files I have seen of the same thing so I don't know what makes some of them much smaller than .avi files that are the same file as the .mkv that i see

THE NUMBERS 4x 6x 8x AND SO ON UP TO 18x and then there is a max button.

I do not have the new one to share with you but I can tell you the slower
you burn a disc the better burn you will get.. I burn mine 8x on a pretty
normal basis but I have burned them as low as 4x if I have any issues at
all.. but again the slower you burn a disc the better burn you will get but
it will take longer to burn at a sower speed... I hope this helps explain it

your very welcome. and yes if your burning them fast you will get a bad burn
a lot of times.. not always but a lot of times and sometimes they will not
even burn so they play if it is bad enough... Glad to be of help...
