I'm thinking here (shhh dangerous I know LOL) but it just makes no sense to
me why upload would be faster than downloads.. with seeding... and I see so
many getting faster speeds downloading.. would it help to reinstall Pando?
Think something went wrong installing it? Thanks.

I do both uploading and downloading at the same time with no problems. It is
a two way traffic thing with one not bothering the other. Its a mater of if
your PC can cope with both demands and all your other demands. I have 4
different downloads from rapid share and 6 downloads from pando going on
right now Plus 2 uploads to pando going on. Doing my mail and gaming at the
same time.

Have you limited your download speed very low ? As you should be getting
375 KB/S + on your downloads. Unless your on a very slow dial up? Have you
did a Internet speed test to see
What your ISP download and upload speed is?

speed here is what mine is.. takes days and day to download a 700MB movie..
very frustrating. I just cannot figure why upload is faster. I did finish
downloading a movie about the first half-hour of my upload and the download
speed didn't change from the usual.. 8 to 16 Kb.. until I saw the upload
going at 32Kb I thought it would take a week to upload since I'm used to
uploads on RS being slower than dlin. LOL

No I'm highspeed broadband and download from RS routinely at over a Gig/sec
across multiple files.. JDownloader holds 20 at a time so speeds per file
can vary. If I just download 1 or two at a time, its ususally about 1
3Gig/sec but has gone faster.. like around 1AM. My usual speeds on Pando no
matter what time of day are 8 to 16 Kb/sec dowloading and I'm uploading for
the first time and getting 32 Kb/sec. That last movie I downloaded took
3days and two nights.. no joke. Don't remember the size right now though.

My speed tests at both the one my ISP endorses and speakeasy both give
fluctuating 1 to 1.5 gig speeds which is what I pay for. I have a new
computer (tower) with dual core processor. That's not an issue anyway.. its
lightening fast and takes a big load. I can play games and still get a gig
speed from my RS premium account. I get that at the same time Pando is
crawling. I have also run a port check on the P2P one and its wide open ...
highspeed I pay for.

This is not about dialup... not in my case.. sattelite and like I said.. if
you're dlin at 1 gig from other places besides Pando.. then its Pando giving
the low speeds. Before I paid for premium with RS.. there speeds were low
too. Its the server that controls the speeds... not your computer nor
connection. I'm noticing today that it goes up a little now and then.. I've
seen that with RS before I paid for premium.. its like you take turns among
other users for the speed coming from a server... they spread it around a
little. LOL

ok i have a paid account on all of it rs hotfiles megaupload pando if i
download from it any time i paid i hate to do the wait game... but my
jdownloader goes the fastes. and i d/l with it most the time. and i am on the
second to the top of the inter speed. That they have.

holy crap! I thought my uploads were slow..i dont think i'd upload to pando if mine were that slow..mine used to be at 56kb/sec and i threw a fit til hubby upgraded to turbo internet and now i get 89kb/sec..wish it were faster but after seeing this I'm def. not complaining lol
