All I can say, as a Win7 user, is that I've downloaded one .mov file not
knowing it was a MAC one. I spent days trying to get it converted to at
least an .avi. I tried every converter I could find.. about 5 of them and
jut finally gave up. One was specifically for converting .mov to .avi... it
didn't work either. Now I avoid .mov like the plague the experience was so
bad LOL But, ya know, the file itself could have been bad and that's why
nothing would convert it to something I could watch. I've often wondered..
if I did find one I knew was good and put it on a DVD if my players would
read it.. PS3 and Phillips. Don't know but I'm not gonna try LOL Hope that
gives you one perspective. BTW, .mov is good for you with MAC but can you
play them on your external players?

I am also a windows 7 user and I love it. as for the .mov file I had one I
snagged the other day & I also could not get it to play but I was able to
get it to convert using Prism Video Converter I just thought you may want
the info so you can try this program out.. I got the free trial the other
day to see if it would work and it does and does a good job... by the way if
anyone has the full version of Prism Video Converter the newer one so it
will work on windows 7 I sure would like a copy of it or a keygen or crack
or anything to make this trial version the full deal..lol... hope the info
helps and thanks to anyone that may have the full program to share...

I so agree with this. My drive is 16x but when I burn to view on an
external, I use 4x disks for a slow burn and reserve 16x just for copying
files... you know .rars, etc. I save the files to disk and often.. like
with Pando .avi's that don't come with .rars, I compress them myself and
save to disks for backup... those do fine 16x.

On the question... it isn't what YOU set it to... it will only do the speed
of your disk so, in my view, if you want to burn at say 4x to get a good
movie burn.. then purchase 4x disks.

this is true it will only burn as fast as the disc will allow it to & you do
make a good point.. on another note if you can find 4x disc they would be a
lot cheaper I am sure than the faster ones because not many want the slow
one or at least not here where I live at.. so that being said you may be
able to get a lot better deal buying the slower disc as well and even be
able to save a few bucks..lol... Crazyhorse.

Ah hah.. well that explains it! I went back to read wiki and finally got
it.. we aren't loading to the server, we're going thru the server to scan
for viruses, etc. If we delete.. our computer isn't a seed anymore.. got
it! LOL and I'm finding the weekend Pando speeds are better.. imagine that
.. here I thought weekdays would be better with less load on the server..
just the opposite.. more people are on their comuters on the weekend. LOL

I downloaded this and watched the whole movie. It is Green Zone but its not
a very good cam copy, just about watchable -sometimes hard to figure out
what the Iraqi's are up to because the subtitles keep disappearing of the
bottom of the screen

went to desktop yesterday and my pando is gone tried to re-install it nothing turned off fire wall to see if that would fix it nothing i have vista use trend micro and maleware bytes any help would be great thanks in advance also have it on laptop works fine

did u go to your control panel and check in your programs to make sure that it completely uninstalled first? That's the only thing I can think of at the moment..i know when I uninstalled pando a while back when I was having problems with it and I installed it again (on vista) it wouldn't just install and run like it should and pando itself told steps of things I had to do on my computer to make it work...I had to do something in my firewall settings and some other things...there were a lot of things it told me to do before it would work properly..you might have to go to pando.com and type in your problem and check the help section there to find your answer.
